How It Got Started
The Sound Behind the Music
The flowchart to go hard
Paze Infinite is one for always moving forward. Splicing, looping and mixing mesmerizing sounds to create bespoke pieces of aural art with the intricate skills of geneticist, Paze shows why he's still a force to reckoned with on the beats.
His approach to creating music involves the deconstruction of sampled music mixed in with his own original compositions to create an eclectic blend of his various influences. His last offering "Starchild” is a collection of high energy bops engineered to raise your vibrations. Creating new urgent music by splicing sample chops with the intricate skills of a geneticist and he shows why he's still a force to reckoned with on the beats.
As co founder of Pushing Buttons Collective, a band of beat makers and producers based in New York City; Paze is sought as a thought leader in the burgeoning beat culture scene in NYC and beyond. Due to his relentless hustle, he has become a mainstay in beat maker showcases throughout the metropolitan area.
Whiskey At 7 is a collective of producers and beat makers that was started by Paze and Atoms Family co founder Cryptic One. They have been producing artist showcases highlighting new and established artists with Ubiquity event series.
Working with singers such as dance music star Nomi has metamorphosed Paze into a hot commodity in the music world. The Ancients, a rap group of which Paze was the defacto leader and co-lyricist recorded their songs almost exclusively over tracks he produced. It was during this time that Paze began the transition from rapper to beatmaker to producer. He enjoyed the success garnered from the critical acclaim of the Ancients' three independently released singles during their time of activity from 1999 to 2005. After leaving the group, Paze began composing original music for artists of other disciplines. This departure led to the successful venture of composing a score for the Errol Grimes Dance Group's piece called "By the Sea".
Paze has produced songs with underground artists such as Tiye Phoenix on “Go Even Harder” featuring Chip Fu and All Lyrical on “Forrest Gump”, not too mention also working with Jean Grae, and dance music group Jessica 6.
With a new album ready to drop November 2026 and a follow up EP in early 2027, Paze is poised to leave his indelible mark on music. His mission is to constantly push the envelope and make music that is non linear and progressive for listeners that are ready for the evolution of popular music.
